Who Am I?! A Journey of Learning, Derailing, and Looping Back

Maqbool ur Rahman @3T-InfoTinker

I revived my dormant freelance profiles — from Upwork (formerly ODesk/Elance) to Freelancer.com and even created a new one on Guru. My focus? Data entry services, something I’ve grown adept at over time. I was once deep into graphic design with tools like Ventura and CorelDRAW, but with time, I leaned more into system admin and data operations.

[Since faced internet failures in the past, lost interest and started my YouTube channel @3T-InfoTinker and this blog site.]

Now, I’m moving into the future.

My current goal is to build expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, under the incredible guidance of Sir #Dr_Shahid_Qamar — a genuinely caring and visionary mentor. I’m also diving into DevOps and automation, guided by the remarkable Sir #Babar_Zahoor.

And yes, the hustle continues —

“It’s the past that lights the way forward.”

Hmm… writing about anything takes effort — but writing about yourself?
That’s like standing face-to-face with your reflection on judgment day.

I believe in being real. No overstatements, no self-praise. I’m not a celebrity — just a regular human navigating life with curiosity, effort, and purpose.

After graduating from Higher Secondary School, I enrolled in a one-year diploma at Petroman Training Institute, Islamabad, in what was then known as Computer Concepts & Architecture. That first step into the digital world sparked something inside me.

Shortly after completing the course, I joined a Korean construction company working on the Lahore–Islamabad Motorway project — a massive initiative in Punjab, Pakistan. I spent two years there, learning not only systems but how big projects operate from the inside out.

But my real turning point came when I left that job and returned to my hometown to launch my own computer training institute — I called it 3T (TipTouchTechniques). That name still sticks with me today, both in branding and in spirit.

Coming from a middle-class background, I quickly realized how tough it is to bridge the gap between a traditional society and a forward-thinking mindset. It’s not just a gap — it’s a generation-wide canyon.

In 2003, I made a bold move and left everything behind to work in the Gulf region. That decision marked the beginning of a lifelong journey — one filled with learning, struggle, self-reflection, and growth that’s still evolving.

Then in April 2021, everything changed again. I encountered a truly inspirational mentor — Sir #Hisham_Sarwar of #Infomist. His words reignited something deep inside me. I began consuming his content non-stop, day and night, and it pushed me to reconnect with my long-lost skills and dreams.
